The Congregational Church of Patchogue, New York, deserve a special THANK YOU for the donation of a new baby warmer. This portable incubator is afirst for Santiago Atitlán, and will save lives of tiny newborns that must be transferred to the pediatric hospital in Guatemala City. Drs. Juan Manuel Chuc and Leah Abraham were thrilled to unpack the new machine which arrived in early May. The Reverend Ron Wilson and the Congregational Church also arranged for the donation of an Ultrasound machine. Thanks tocaring friends and supporters, health care in Santiago Atitlán is improvinggreatly. ¡MIL GRACIAS!

MEETING ANA FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Little Ana Veronica Ramirez Ajchomajay has been sponsored through the Mother Infant Sponsorship since she was in her mother’s belly. Her mother Elena was so happy about having a sponsor for her baby that named her after the sponsor’s name, Anne Groombridge from England. They started communicating through letters and even though they live miles apart, last April 11th they met for the first time!!! After the visit Anne said that “It was an awesome day in the truest sense”. You can see it for yourselves just looking at their smiles!!!

La pequeña Ana Verónica Ramírez Ajchomajay fue apadrinada gracias al Apadrinamiento Materno Infantil des de que estaba en la barriga de su mamá. Su madre Elena, estuvo tan contenta de que su hija tuviera una madrina, Anne Groombridge, que le puso el mismo nombre. Empezaron a comunicarse por carta y aunque viven a millas de distancia pues Anne vive en Inglaterra, el 11 de Abril pasado se conocieron por primera vez!!!
Después de la visita, Anne dijo que “fue un día increíble en el más verdadero sentido”. Pueden observadlo ustedes mismos viendo sus sonrisas!!!
